Jon was in the chess club during his elementary years and though he is still a self-admitted novice when it comes to the game, he has long been a chess enthusiast because of its many intellectual benefits and the spirit of fellowship that the game cultivates. “I am proud to support this initiative that will make chess more accessible to youth throughout Pittsburgh. The game has so much to offer and I am eager to help more young people reap its benefits.”
